When We Move to Heaven
What would you do if the unthinkable happened?
A true story of faith, love, family, tragedy, grace and God.
From the ashes of painful loss Linda finds healing, strength, hope, and joy for all eternity. And a peace that passes all understanding. Read how God raised Linda from the ashes of life to soar on eagle’s wings.
Linda’s journey will leave you in awe of God’s power and faithfulness. Come be inspired and comforted in God’s great plan for eternal life.
Not knowing that very soon she would be moving to heaven, four-year old Jessica Street drew this prophetic picture.
This drawing would serve as a message of comfort and of hope for Linda, Jessica’s mother. It would also become the cover illustration of a book, a message of hope for all God’s people: “When We Move To Heaven.”
Through Jessica Street’s sweet little hands, God left this visual message to her grieving mother: “Yes, Linda, know for certain your husband and children are with Me, safe and happy. Linda, be comforted; I promise I will reunite you with your family very soon. For now, you will grieve, but know I AM the Truth and I AM with you every moment of your life.”
In Jessie’s drawing, the core of emotion is displayed. Linda’s body is depicted in black, but her head of knowledge is purple.
The yellow covering over her head represents the peace of God, and the multi-colored rainbow is our sign of Hope in God’s Eternal Promise.
Our Lord Jesus Christ desires us to be child-like in our faith and trust …
“I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:2-4).
We were once children. God wants us to come back to our origin. Turn our hearts to child-like faith in Him; shed our pain and allow Him to be our Heavenly Father. What joy and comfort comes from our Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Saviour.
“This story is honest and personal; you will easily identify with Linda’s hopes, dreams, and fears. This book challenges and enables us all to become messengers of faith and trust, even when the events around us seem to make no sense—a virtual “Hebrews 11” theme.”

“Linda: Thanks so much for the copy of your book. It’s really an impressive effort and it tells so much about you and your family, and it makes me even more impressed with your faith in God and the impact your life has had on so many people and in so many ways that you could have never anticipated. And more importantly, I’m overwhelmed by the Christian witness this bears on Mycol’s life. He comes across as such a wonderful, heroic, inspiring Christian man — what your daughters had to say about him at the first memorial service was just amazing and brought him to life so vividly. The whole book really speaks to me, and it will speak to anyone who has gone through a tragedy of any sort. This is something that God will use in all sorts of ways to speak to people.”

“Mrs. Street’s words of FAITH have surely touched my heart. She has brought so much peace into my life. About a year and a half ago I lost my grandpa. He was at my house with my younger sister and me when he had a massive heart attack. He was only 57 yrs old. Well I can’t begin to explain the pain and guilt I felt because I “didn’t do enough”. It took a while for me to realize that it wasn’t up to me whether or not it was my grandpa’s time to be with the Lord. God was ready for him. Since then my FAITH has only grown stronger. At 23 I still have a lot to learn, but one thing I know for sure is that I’m a child of an amazing God. Mrs. Street’s story has brought so much more understanding to me. She is an amazing woman. I admire her FAITH in GOD. I hope she knows that she has and will touch so many lives with her story. I thank you so much for bringing this book to me. God Bless you, Mrs. Linda Street.”

“I want to tell how Linda’s book has helped me thru the past weeks. My mother-in-law Meg was close to death. Knowing her family has little or no faith, I did not know what to do or say. I prayed & waited upon Jesus. During times of quietness, sitting with Meg or her family I read When We Move to Heaven. I was reading ‘Faith & Encouragement,’ page 172, when the angels came for Meg. I cried with her daughters & my husband. The answer was there right before me – there was no need for me to do or say anything but to grieve with them. Thank you, dear Linda, I give praise to His Holy name for His faithfulness.”

“This book is all about God and how He was glorified in the lives of Linda and her family before, during, and after the fire. Throughout the book you can see how they all wanted to live a Godly life and how important it was to raise their children in the will of God. She did a good job at expressing that in her book. The book also helped me to know how to respond to people with the death of a loved one. You can love someone and not say anything. Chapter 18 Recognizing the Sifting was an eye opener for me as I walk though the trials in my life. These are some of the things that stood out to me in the book. I am sure that each person that reads her book will get something different out of it because there is a message for everyone. Thanks Linda for opening up and sharing your thoughts, fears, and tears with us. I cried at the end reading the letter from Rusty.”
